New Homes Fair Returns to Cork – Wednesday 22nd April 2009

After successfully running two Cork New Homes Fairs in 2008, which saw over 1,200 people pass through the doors, the Construction Industry Federation is delighted to announce details of the next New Homes Fair, which will take place in the Imperial Hotel, South Mall, Cork, on Wednesday 22nd April 2009, between 5-9 p.m.

The New Homes Fair will offer a unique opportunity for prospective house buyers to capitalise on the great bargains that are available on the Cork housing market at the moment.

Speaking at the launch of the event, Joe O’Brien, CIF Director of the Southern Region said:

‘There has never been better value in the new homes market and the Cork New Homes Fair will showcase this.  A large selection of the prominent house building companies in Cork will be on hand to talk buyers through their range of new homes and developments, and it also provides an ideal opportunity for prospective house buyers to talk directly with the builders about what they have for sale at the moment.

“In addition to the house builders, AIB will be there to take prospective buyers through the mortgage application process and tell them what they have to offer at the moment, which means people interested in taking out a mortgage and buying a new home can get all the information they need under one roof”.

“CIF will also be providing those who attend with information about purchasing a new home such as mortgage interest relief, stamp duty and building energy ratings, with further information on the new homes market available on www.chap.ie  and   www.homefacts.ie .

“This event is a must for anybody thinking of buying a new home in Cork”.
